How Are You?
“How Are You?” is a song dedicated to our best friends. If you’re concerned, you just to be right at his or her side. Thanks to Lucas, who wrote these wonderful lyrics. He put everything into words, I couldn’t express. This song is part of my album “Quarterlife Blues”.
Looking through the window pane
Just another day of rain
Bringing me down all over again
Then I remember stumbling home
Laughing at your jokes
Suddenly those clouds seem miles away
How are you, my dear old friend?
Called to bother you again
With stories you’ve heard
Ten thousand times
How are you, my dear old friend?
There may be lonely days ahead
But if you need me,
I’ll be right by your side
Ooh ooh ooh ooh
There are days we wake up tired
From visions of a world on fire
Hope seems lost in skies of grey
We don’t have to take a walk
Don’t even have to talk
Just savor the stillness of the day
How are you, my dear old friend?
Called to bother you again
With stories you’ve heard
Ten thousand times
How are you, my dear old friend?
There may be lonely days ahead
But if you need me,
I’ll be right by your side
Right by your side
The world can be a dreary place
Think of all the time that we waste
Trying to get by on our own
But I know in the end
We can count on our true friends
To help us carry our heaviest loads
How are you, my dear old friend?
Called to bother you again
With stories you’ve heard
Ten thousand times
How are you, my dear old friend?
If there’ll be lonesome days ahead
You know that I’ll be there
Right by your side
Ooh ooh ooh ooh
