Midnight Masquerade – Vicious Circle

I would like to start 2025 with something fresh and unusual: Goth Rock. Midnight Masquerade released their song “Vicious Circle”, that is based on my lyrics.

As a lyricist, I enjoy writing about dark and unusual themes. “Vicious Circle” is a song about a toxic relationship, where the narrator already sees the signs of depersonalisation. He is desperately longing for help while having feelings for the partner. I don’t know what made me write these dark lyrics, but I wanted to hear them in a goth or new wave song – And that’s what happened now.
