I f*cking hate “Diplomacy”

I do not often write sarcastic lyrics with a real intention. This time, I’m ranting about empty phrases in everyday life. Diplomatic phrases, that are only needed to be polite or assuage people. Can we live without diplomatic expressions?

The idea to “Diplomacy” came in daily life. Everybody heard some phrases like “that’s sweet of you” or “my door is always open”, and most often these are far away from the truth. Wouldn’t it be better to say what you really mean?

“Diplomacy” has been written and recorded with John Lampson and JaaRi, a band from Berlin. Everybody is routed in punk rock music, and I felt it’s best to go that way. This time all our tracks were recorded from real instruments and people – even the background vocals and drums. Thanks a lot for participating!
